OUT! MEETING IN LONDON - AGENDA

Friday, 6th September


Attendees: Pride in Football (PiF), Fußballfans gegen Homophobie (FFGH), Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB/URBSFA), Football Supporters Europe (FSE).


1pm – 1:50pm: briefing meeting for the partners on the administrative requirements of OUT!


Advisory Board members join for the following sessions:


2pm – 2:30pm: Presentation of the project and role of Advisory Board.


2:30pm – 3:30pm: Round Table - presentation of the partners, their expertise, their current situation, and their expectations of the project.


3:45pm – 4:30pm: Presentation of the survey outcomes (from partners, FSE’s member organisations, advisory board members).


4:45 – 5:30pm: Discussion about the expectation of the handbook, the expectations of the impact of the project (beyond its lifetime).


6:30pm – 9pm: Drinks and snacks together with the early arrivals of the PiF annual meeting sponsored by Attitude.


Saturday, 7th September


Attendees: Pride in Football (PiF), Fußballfans gegen Homophobie (FFGH), Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB/URBSFA), Football Supporters Europe (FSE), Advisory Board Members, Invitees.


11am start: Orientation and introductions.


11.15 - 11.50: Presentation by Southampton University's Rory Magrath on his new

LGBT+ fan experience research (organised by PiF).


11.55 - 12.35: Discussion on the current situation, identification of pressing issues; types of fans, types of abuse, types of exclusion, etc. (organised by FSE).


12.40 - 1.30pm: Lunch plus stadium tours (organised by PiF).


1.35 - 2.05pm: 3 x 10 minute presentations of best practice of working with fans: e.g. SLOs working with their local LGBT+ group, LGBT+ activists influencing FA policies, etc. (organised by FSE).


2.10 - 2.50pm: Split into three groups, discussing one of the presentations, sharing their own best practices, producing recommendations on work with fans (organised by FSE).


2.55 - 3.25pm: Overview session of the previous exchange of best practice (organised by FSE).


3.30 - 4.20pm: Round Table - Charlie Condou, Amal Fashanu, Brad Slayer, Anthony Ogogo and Alisha Lehmann; facilitated by Jess Creighton (organised by PiF).


4.25 Close (organised by PiF).


4.30pm: Bar open and big screen on for England v Bulgaria, KO at 5pm (organised by PiF).
